In a side game of four or six rinks should a player deliberately stop a bowl in motion before it reaches the head then that rink will be penalised 50 shots and the relevant number of points available for winning the rink.

In a singles, pairs, triples or fours games any player breaking the law will forfeit the game.

Stopping a bowl that has passed the head and is going to enter the ditch or leave the confines of the rink will not be deemed as breaking Law 37.1.3.
